Some cats need more room. Some homes call for more than a covered porch conversion. Signature Catios are CatManDo’s larger custom outdoor cat enclosures built around Austin homes: walk-in layouts, elevated runs, connected zones and structures shaped to the house and the site.
Four things, usually all at once. If a project only has one of them, it is probably a porch or window build, and we will say so.

A rotting pergola cleared and demoed, the fascia repaired, and a far sturdier roofed catio built in its place — framed around the existing trees so not a single branch had to come off.

A translucent polycarbonate roof over the whole structure: rain stays out, light comes through, and the room stays usable year round for the cats and the people.

Signature Catios can run substantially higher depending on size, roofing, complexity, elevated runs and site conditions.

Most builds take about six to ten-plus days on site, plus a confirmed scheduling window.
Limited availability
We accept a limited number of Signature projects so Ben and Oren can stay directly involved in the work.
Signature projects are the largest work we take on, and a limited number happen each year. These are the questions that come up first.
What makes a project Signature instead of a porch catio?
Scale and custom work. Signature builds add real square footage rather than screening in what exists: walk-in size, connected zones, elevated runs, and cat features designed for those specific cats. If a project only has one of those, we will tell you it is a porch or window build.
How far ahead do we need to plan?
Further than our other work. These are substantial custom carpentry projects with a confirmed scheduling window, and we take on a limited number of them. The build itself is measured in days on site once we start.
Can we start smaller and add on later?
Sometimes. If expansion is part of the conversation during design, a build can be planned so a run or tunnel connects to more later. It is much harder to retrofit onto something never designed for it.
