Indoor catification and custom cat climbing walls

Your walls are wasted on the cats. Fix that.

Indoor catification means designing and installing a permanent indoor cat climbing wall: routes, shelves, perches and resting spots that give cats movement, choice and confidence without leaving the house. CatManDo builds them in Austin homes as custom carpentry planned around your cats and your rooms, not a kit of store-bought shelves.

Designed for your cats and your home

A custom cat climbing wall gets designed around age, mobility, temperament, how the rooms get used, what the walls are made of, and how you want it to look. All of it matters, so we ask about all of it.

“The highest recommendation if you’re looking to add unique enrichment for your cat(s). This was our second project together, and I’m extremely pleased with the work.”

“They added to the catio and built a custom jungle gym inside. Francis absolutely loves it.”

Recent indoor installations

One home, one install: a full high route across a two-storey living room, a floor-to-ceiling climb on the column, and a spiral staircase up the wall. Find the piece closest to your room and we will talk through what would change.

Limited indoor catification commissions

One or two of these a year, on purpose

Indoor catification is some of the most detailed work we take on. These are substantial custom carpentry projects, and the lead time is usually several months minimum: this work suits people who want something genuinely unique and are willing to wait for a slot. Once we are on site the install itself is quick.

Typically starts around

$15,000–$20,000

Indoor catification questions

Will it damage our walls?

Mounting is planned to your wall construction: studs, masonry or whatever you have. Removal and patching are part of the design conversation, so you know what taking it down would involve before anything goes up.

What rooms and surfaces work?

Most do. We look at wall construction, room traffic and what your cats already gravitate toward, then design the routes around real life, not around a catalog.

What if we move?

Ask us about removal during design, not after the moving truck is booked. Custom work is built for your walls, and we will walk you through what a clean removal would involve for the specific build.

Planning and installation

Consultation, measurements, design approval, fabrication, cat climbing wall installation and simple care instructions. Then the cats take over.
